KEYSTONE, Colo. –January 13, 2010 – Families planning a ski vacation this year need to look no further than Keystone Resort. This year, Keystone is offering great deals on skiing and lodging with the new Kids Ski Free Package as well as unique winter-themed, family-programming activities at its Kidtopia Festivals throughout the ski season.
The Kids Ski Free package is available now through the end of the ski season. Children 12 and younger can ski free with the purchase of an adult three-day lift ticket and four nights of lodging starting from $229 with no blackout dates.
During the Kidtopia festivals, kids can participate in activities including: A glowstick parade down the mountain; Disco Tubing at Keystone’s lift-served tubing hill; BBQ night on top of the mountain; a parade in the village led by Keystone’s Mascot Ripperoo; live music; arts and crafts; a glowbug skate night and more. Also, beginning February 19, kids will be able to explore the Ultimate Snow Fort at the top of Dercum Mountain, complete with a snow dragon, drawbridge, and lookout tower. Many of the activities are free. Kidtopia Festival dates are Jan. 14-19, Feb. 11-16 and 18-21, March 15-21 and April 1-6.
