Alley, a 2009 graduate of Colorado Mountain College and former Ski Tip Lodge Sous Chef, brings 10 years of culinary experience to his new role.

“I’m truly excited to serve as the Ski Tip Lodge’s Executive Chef,” said Executive Chef Jordan Alley. “This is a homecoming of sorts, as I’ve previously spent time with the Ski Tip where I was able to gain first-hand insight into the award-winning restaurant.

“I look to continue in the tradition of creating a remarkable dining experience for guests while they visit Keystone. The Ski Tip Lodge presents the perfect opportunity for me to continue exploring my passion and joy for the culinary arts.”

Alley’s experience also includes five years of increasing culinary expertise and responsibility as part of Colorado Mountain College’s apprenticeship program with Keystone Resort.

The noted dining establishment was voted by diners as the number-six rated restaurant in OpenTable’s 2014 Top 100 Restaurants in America, compiled from more than five million reviews of more than 20,000 restaurants across the country.

The Ski Tip Lodge features a summer full of delectable culinary events, including Summer Après every day from 3-5 p.m., Sunshine and Wine tastings (July 12; Aug. 2, 30; Sept. 13) and Wine Dinners (July 20; Aug. 21; Sept. 18).

Keystone Resort has long been known as a place where families rule, and summers are no exception, where turning lifts carry mountain bikers, hikers and families seeking mountaintop summer adventures, rather than skiers and riders searching for fresh turns. From scenic lift rides and guided hikes to horseback riding and 36-holes of championship golf, the opportunities for summer adventures are endless.
