KEYSTONE, Colo. — May 29, 2013 — Golf is in full swing at Keystone Resort, as the Keystone Ranch course opens with 18 holes of play Friday, May 31. The Ranch will join the 18 holes of mountain-style play currently available at Keystone’s River Course. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a full summer of fun on the greens with a variety of Keystone golf season pass products currently available, providing access to all 36 holes of championship play.
The Robert Trent Jones, Jr.-designed Keystone Ranch follows the legendary links-style of a Scottish course on the front-nine, while the back nine presents a traditional mountain valley layout. Winding through lodgepole pines, around sage meadows and across a nine-acre lake, this par-72 course features slight elevation changes and many bunkers for a scenic, challenging round of play.
Golfers can relax at the comfortable Ranch Clubhouse, enjoying breathtaking views and full-service facilities such as lockers rooms, a fully stocked golf shop and the Keystone Ranch Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and après food and beverages daily. The Ranch’s deck overlooks the course’s back nine and provides one of the best sunset views in Summit County, making it the perfect locale for a post-round beverage.
Throughout the Summer Keystone’s golf courses will offer various lessons and clinics specifically geared at improving guest’s game in a productive and friendly atmosphere. Half-hour private lessons with a PGA professional that are individually tailored to guest’s skill level and goals are available for $50 and clinics such as Boomers on the Links at The River Course perfect for seniors and Just for Junior Golf Clinics great for 17 and under golfers will also be available throughout the season.
