Free and Discounted Activities with Keystone Resort’s Adventure Passport
Keystone Resort offers a free Adventure Passport for all guests staying at Keystone Resort properties. The Adventure Passport provides Keystone guests with an array of free and discounted activities to help them experience the Rocky Mountains. From free fly fishing clinics, yoga classes, gold panning and beaver prowl programs to $5 paddle boat and wagon rides, margarita, wine, and martini tastings, to discounts on dinners, scenic chairlift rides, stargazing and more.

Summer Tubing on the Snow at Adventure Point!
One of Colorado's best tubing spots is at the summit of Dercum Mountain at Adventure Point has extended its season into the summer! With a good pitch and long runout, the park’s four tubing lanes deliver fast fun and entertainment for the entire family.

Keystone Golf: Par for the Course
Keystone boasts two championship courses in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The Ranch and River Courses cater to golfers of all abilities and Keystone offers golf clinics and programs for all ages and skill levels. The Keystone Ranch Golf Course opens for the season on June 18 and the River Course at Keystone opens May 21.

Kids Golf Free in the Afternoon:
Kids golf free at Keystone every afternoon with a paying adult at both of Keystone’s award-winning courses – The River Course at Keystone and the Keystone Ranch Golf Course. Free golf is offered after 5 p.m. all season long for kids age 17 and under depending on availability. 
 
Short Game Clinics: Free for Keystone lodging guests with your Adventure Passport or $15 for other guests.  Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 3 to 4p.m., June 11th through September 24th. Practice and perfect your short game with our golf professionals.  Reservations required, call (970) 496-4250.

Experience the Best Downhill Mountain Biking in the U.S. 
Keystone Resort is the premier mountain biking destination in the U.S. and provides the most exciting and unforgettable downhill experiences for all ability levels in the country. Keystone offers 57 trails on approximately 55 miles of terrain. The trails at Keystone are designed to appeal to beginners and advanced bikers by providing easier or more technical routes through the trail system. For advanced riders, Keystone boasts the Drop Zone, a terrain-park-like area on the mountain featuring ramps, rock ledges and a 14-foot jump called “Jaws”. The Park also offers innovative features like tabletops, ladders, bridges and berms that give all guests a thrill.

Rafting Colorado Rivers
Keystone has teamed up with the best in the business to give families and guests of all ability levels an exceptional Colorado river adventure. Guests will experience rafting at its finest and choose from a relaxing float trip or a heart-pounding whitewater adventure.  Full day, half day and overnight trips are available as well as transportation and lunch options.

Horseback riding in the Colorado Rockies
Horseback riding is one of the most scenic ways to see Keystone. With one and two-hour sessions available daily as well as overnight rides upon request, the Keystone Stables provide an old west experience for the whole family.

Summer Events—Keystone Resort 2010

Kid’s Discovery Days, June 15–Aug. 10, 11am
June 15, 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27, Aug. 3, 10. Tuesdays. Explore fun at the Kid’s Discovery Days. Watch a magic show, see zoo animals or sing a-long with our musician. The entertainer changes every Tuesday so make sure to come to everyone! It’s fun, it’s free, it’s Kids’ Discovery. Free parking will be available at the River Run lots, located just off Gondola Road.
 
Family Fun Night, June 23–July 28, 5pm
Wednesdays. Bring the family and enjoy the festivities at Keystone. Have dinner at a River Run restaurant and stay for a night full of activities. Kids can bounce the night away in our bounce house, try your hand at some carnival games for silly, fun prizes or just enjoy the kid’s show at 5pm and 6pm. The entertainer changes every Wednesday.

6th Annual World Music Fest June 26, 2010
This summer, River Run at Keystone is celebrating cultures from all over the globe. Our festival of cultural collision combines live music, an international marketplace, artwork, and delicious international cuisine. Visit the world marKIDplace for educational activities and crafts, inflatable bounce houses, live entertainment, and more. Enjoy the international mini-golf course and visit 18 countries along the way. Sample beers from around the globe in the International Beer Garden. And stick around for a free fireworks display at dark. Don't miss this day of international fun!
 
Rapunzel: A Rock-n-Roll Fairytale, July 2–Aug 20, 10am & 11:30am
On Friday mornings at the Quaking Aspen Amphitheatre, Keystone's River Run Village hosts Grimm's famous tale of Rapunzel, the beautiful maiden in the tower. Rapunzel rewrites her own story, breaking free from the fairytale’s conventional chains, and embarks on a musical journey of friendship, adventure and self-discovery the whole family will enjoy. Tickets are $4.
  
River Run Kidzfest, July 3, 17, Aug 7, 14, 11am
Saturdays. It’s time to have some fun! Bring your family and get back into some good old family times. Enjoy gold panning, petting zoo, train rides, caricatures, face painter, balloon artist, midway games, mascots Olivia and Oliver, spin art, kids’ show, bounce houses and much, much more!
 
Stories Alive Story Hour July 6–27, 6–7pm
On Tuesdays in July, the Quaking Aspen Amphitheater hosts an evening of live storytelling for kids of all ages. Join us as the stories of A.A. Milne, Lewis Carroll, Roald Dahl and more come alive. Then stick around and create your own wonderful stories to share with your families and friends. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All parents are welcome to participate.
 
Music in the Mountains Concert Series, July 18–25, 11am
Start your week with the melodies of the mountains! Join us select Sunday mornings in July and August for free concerts in Keystone's River Run. Whether it's a brass quintet, a jazz ensemble or a chamber soloist, you are guaranteed a morning of beautiful music. Indulge in tasty mimosas, visit the Bloody Mary bar, or just enjoy some complimentary snacks.
 
River Run Rocks, July 24, 2010, 4pm
River Run is ready to rock! Come and enjoy a FREE concert! A kids’ game zone will keep the young ones busy while you enjoy the music. Smokey Joe's Café: The Music of Leiber and Stoller, July 29–Aug. 26
Thursdays and Sundays. River Run presents Smokey Joe's Café produced by the award-winning Lake Dillon Theatre Company. This Tony Award-nominated musical revue features the music of Leiber & Stoller, including such popular hits as "Dance with Me," "Fools Fall in Love," "On Broadway," "Love Potion Number 9," "Jailhouse Rock," and much more.
 
14th Annual Bluegrass and Beer Festival July 31–Aug. 1
Keystone brings the wonders of Appalachia to the Rockies. Down-home cooking, frothy flavors and mountain-music are just a piece of the pie. In a whirlwind of hillbilly luxuries, folks gather while more than 25 of Colorado's finest micobreweries showcase their unique blends of hops and barley. Beer garden and food open at 12 noon. Music starts at 1 PM. Microbrew tasting is from 1 - 5 PM. Kids activities and bounce houses are all day. 
 
Dancin' in the Rockies Dance Series, Aug. 3– 31, 7–8:30pm
On Tuesday nights in August, the new Pavilion at Keystone in Keystone's River Run Village hosts a brand new dance series. Grab your favorite dance partner and join us the first four Tuesdays in August to learn a different dance style. Local and Front Range dance instructors and performers will provide free lessons in swing, line, salsa and tango. The final Tuesday in August will culminate into Summit County's Biggest Dance Party. All abilities, ages and dance lovers are welcome! All Dancin' in the Rockies Dance Series lessons are from 7–8:30pm at the Pavilion at Keystone. Then join us for Summit County's Biggest Dance Party on Aug. 31. Lessons are free and open to the public.
 
Friday Night Comedy Series, Aug. 6–27, 7pm doors, show 7:30pm
The Pavilion at Keystone hosts a comedy series that will leave you laughing out loud. Join us each Friday night in August as the Pavilion at Keystone presents award-winning comics from all across the country. Stand up may not be suitable for kids.

Mountain States Cup, Aug. 6–8, 2010
The Mountain States Cup (MSC) is the largest full-discipline (endurance and gravity) race series in the United States. In 2010, the Mountain States Cup will hold 36 races over nine weekends all across the Rocky Mountain. It draws World-Cup caliber athletes that are drawn to the challenging courses and great Colorado atmosphere.
 
6th Annual Blues Festival and Art Show Aug. 21–22
Savvy Blues stretches its acoustic roots through the Rocky Mountains. Grab a beverage, try one of many delicious food dishes, and stroll through the juried art show as one of a kind artists trim the plaza. Free kids activities and more round out this day of bluesy fun for the whole family.
