On-Snow Adventures for the Whole Family
Keystone offers one of the most accessible, progression-friendly mountian experiences in Colorado. From the natural front-to-back sequence of Keystone’s terrain, with three peaks stacked in front of one-another, Keystone offers something for every level skier and rider and entices families and friends to find new challenges on the mountain each day. The on-snow progression begins with designated learning areas including a one-of-a-kind Burton Riglet Park, operating with the philosophy of, “if they can stand, they can ride”, and continues up to in-bounds guided cat skiing and riding in Keystone’s majestic bowled terrain via Keystone Adventure Tours (KAT). The on-snow adventure at Keystone doesn’t stop when the sun goes down either; offering the largest night skiing operation in Colorado, skiers and riders can enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience of crusing under the lights on 243 acres of skiable terrain.

The Little Touches that make a Big Difference
Keystone is dedicated to ensuring that newcomers to the sport and seasoned veterans alike can enjoy the breathtaking scenery and great outdoor recreation in a hassle-free environment. Guests at Keystone are welcomed to the resort by a recently renovated Reception Center, complete with on-site concierge for assistance booking the perfect family adventure. Lift tickets will be presented at check-in for those taking advantage of advanced-purchase discounts, meaning guests skip an additional line at the ticket window and can head straight to the lift. Little ones will be greeted with a special treat from the Keystone Treasure Chest and weary travelers will be welcomed with fresh cookies from Keystone’s executive pastry chef. Families also gain easy access to the mountain at Keystone with convenient front-row parking in Keystone’s free parking lot, and hundreds of red wagons are spread throughout the resort, perfect for toting gear or, more commonly at the end of the day, little rippers tired out from a day of on-snow fun.

An Authentic Rocky Mountain Retreat with One-of-a-Kind Dining Experiences
While just a short drive from Denver, Keystone offers a true mountain getaway in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Though guests and families will find modern day conveniences and amenities throughout the resort, historic and rustic charm still beckons. The Ski Tip Lodge, originally an 1800’s stagecoach stop, was once the home to Keystone’s founders, Max and Edna Dercum, and is now a cozy bed and breakfast. Additionally, The Ski Tip Lodge boasts a restaurant which features a four-course dinner menu that changes daily and was voted the number six best restaurant in America by OpenTable in 2014. Keystone’s signature winter Dinner Sleigh Ride and Scenic Sleigh Ride is a trip back to yesteryear. Wranglers will board guests onto a sleigh pulled by teams of Belgian and Percheron draft horses and families can cozy up together under the warmth of wool blankets. As guests begin their ride through the quiet expanse of the Soda Creek Valley, charismatic and charming wranglers will introduce you to the teams of horses, share local history of the area’s mining days, and on clear star-filled nights, point out constellations patterns. Upon arrival at a historic homestead-era log cabins built in the early 1800’s, a roaring fire and the rustic charm of the past awaits.
