New: Stars and Guitars – Kidtopia’s Signature Summer Event
New for 2018, Kidtopia’s Stars and Guitars event takes family entertainment to new heights and tops out at 11,640 feet elevation with a mountaintop concert and family picnic. From June 29 to July 4, Stars and Guitars includes live mountaintop music, free daily Kidtopia activities, a fireworks display in honor of Independence Day and lodging discounts of up to 30 percent. Kids Rule Keystone
Keystone’s signature family Kidtopia activities provide families with a variety of free activities and interactive adventures daily throughout the summer. From June 8 to Sept. 1, Kidtopia offerings such as family nature hikes, river science outings, and environment based learning connect families to the natural surroundings of the resort through hands-on learning disguised as fun. Free is Key
Staying with Keystone comes with perks that families love. With any night stay that’s booked directly through Keystone, all guests receive Play for Free components that includes free scenic lift tickets for any child 12 and younger, as well as free nine holes of golf, free tennis court rentals, free guided hike and a free fitness or yoga class for everyone on the reservation. Keystone Resort boasts two beautiful 18-hole golf facilities located in one convenient resort destination situated at 9,300 feet elevation among the Rocky Mountains. The Keystone Ranch Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., is a mountain course that winds through lodgepole pines, around sage meadows and across a nine-acre lake. It’s All Downhill from Here
The Keystone Bike Park offers some of the country’s best downhill singletrack mountain biking trails with progressive terrain for riders of multiple ability levels. Thirty-four lift-serviced trails provide riders with more than 2,000 feet of vertical drop. From mellow bridges and berms to rock gardens and rock drops, beginner and expert riders alike can experience the thrill of downhill. The Keystone Bike Academy caters to riders of all levels with beginner and intermediate clinics, private lessons and downhill guides. Instructors have been trained via standards set forth by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), providing professional instruction on the proper downhill techniques.

Summers have become the season of festivals, and this certainly holds true at Keystone Resort. Thrill-seekers looking to enjoy the Keystone Bike Park can learn what it takes to conquer the mountain via mountain bike with the Keystone Bike Academy. Catering to riders of all ability levels with beginner clinics, private lessons and downhill guides, certified mountain biking instructors lead a variety of programs that are perfect for families, friends and groups.
In addition to the daily morning and afternoon fitness classes held at Studio K, mountaintop yoga showcases the Zen of Keystone. Located at 11,640-feet elevation with expansive views of the Tenmile Range, mountaintop yoga brings the sport to a whole new level.
Both the Keystone Ranch Golf Course and The River Course offer a variety of private lessons, clinics and programs designed for golfers of all abilities and ages. With instruction via Keystone’s PGA teaching professionals, enjoying the links through private lessons and weekly offerings designed specifically for junior, woman, senior and group golfers is easier than a hole-in-one.
Hiking is a summer staple throughout Colorado, and Keystone is no exception with five different guided hikes offered. Whether it’s a wildflower hike or a calorie-burning fitness hike, a mountain hike or valley hike, Keystone’s guided hikes each offer a unique perspective of the resort.
