27 January 2016
Keystone, Colo. — Jan. 27, 2016 — Keystone Resort proudly presents the inaugural Kidtopia Experience, a weekend of family-friendly fun taking place Friday, Feb. 19 to Sunday, Feb. 21. While kids rule at Keystone every day of the season, this special weekend will provide excitement for all ages with free entertainment, including an outdoor concert from Grammy Award-winners, The Okee Dokee Brothers, with special guests, School of Rock. Throughout the weekend families can also enjoy time spent together on the snow, and in the village participating in a variety of free events and activities as a part of the Kidtopia Experience.
The Okee Dokee Brothers take the stage in Keystone’s River Run Village on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 4:45 p.m. for a free, all-ages concert. Before taking the stage on Saturday, the Okee Dokee Brothers will host a special meet and greet Friday evening, where guests can meet the band and participate in an Okee Dokee Karaoke sing-a-long. The musical duo grew up in Denver, Colo. and has put their passion for the outdoors at the heart of their Americana Folk music, performing family music with the goal of inspiring children and their parents to get outside and get creative. Special guests and aspiring young rockers from School of Rock Littleton will kick off the music on Saturday with a free concert at 3 p.m. in River Run Village.
The Kidtopia Experience provides the perfect complement to Keystone’s on-snow offerings, including more than 3,000 skiable acres of terrain, the longest ski day in Colorado, a Ski & Ride School that offers family private lessons, and endless adventure opportunities like mountaintop tubing, the world’s largest snow fort, and dining options for every culinary taste. Lodging starts at just $199 for a family-friendly one bedroom condo, plus Kids 12 and Under Ski FREE with any two or more night stay.
